NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT
Amanda actively serves the soccer community through committees, task forces and boards. She has a unique love and appreciation for non-profit governance, leadership development and organizational growth. Today, she works with organizations that support players and coaches, challenge gender inequality in sport, promote sports for development, and advocate respect and tolerance for others.
2018 - present | Amanda is an Advisory Board member for AFDP Global, a social enterprise that funds, supports and partners with organizations to unite and transform communities through football. Advisors support the organization's mission by offering insight, expertise and management support to develop football projects that tackle social issues, deliver sustainable impact and improve lives in communities in need.
2007 - present | United Soccer Coaches, previously called the National Soccer Coaches of America (NSCAA), is the world's largest independent soccer coaches association. Amanda has been involved in the leadership and management of this non-profit organization for over 15 years - first as a junior member of the Women's Committee and quickly becoming its Chair, to serving on the board for nearly a decade and ascending to the Presidency. Today, Amanda still frequents the annual convention and volunteers her time as a member of the Foundation Committee.

2018 - present | Amanda is a member of the Advisory Board for the Global Goals World Cup, a 5-aside tournament fueled by girls and women that merges the beautiful game of football with global citizenship. Leading up to match day each team champions one of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and is ranked by the action taken for their Global Goal on and off the field. The women support each other as they break down barriers, lead local sustainability initiatives and amplify their call to action. Teams are scored in four categories: Action, Crowd, Style and Football. Those awarded not only win a tournament. They create impact locally and globally.
2018 - present | Amanda supports Equal Playing Field (EPF) as a volunteer organizer. EPF is a grassroots, non-profit initiative to challenge gender inequality in sport and to promote sports development for girls and women globally, especially in marginalized country contexts. Specifically it is a catalyst organization that aims to ensure opportunity, equality and respect for girls and women in sport and in life. Amanda has helped organize high-profile challenges to set Guinness World Records for the lowest-elevation football match ever played at the Dead Sea in Jordan, to the most number of players to appear in a 5v5 exhibition football match in Lyon, France. She was also the co-organizer and host of the Equality Summit in 2019.
