Amanda Vandervort is a sport business executive with a 20-year record of leadership and innovation across all levels of women’s and men’s football/soccer in the United States and around the world. She's a soccer coach and player; a data-driven and consumer-centric marketer; and non-profit board advisor.
Amanda worked as the Chief Women's Football Officer at FIFPRO, the global football players' union located in the Netherlands, from 2019-2021. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Fan Engagement at Major League Soccer (MLS), the top-tier men's professional league in the United States for nearly a decade. In 2016, Amanda served as the fifth female President of United Soccer Coaches (previously called the NSCAA), the largest non-profit coaches' association in the world. She currently serves on the boards of several global non-profit organizations dedicated to transforming community through soccer.
Amanda is a service-oriented leader who believes in a diverse and inclusive world where anyone who wants to get involved in soccer has the access and opportunity to do so, and then the education and support to succeed.
She is also an avid baker who enjoys decorating cakes for sporting events, parties, birthdays and weddings.

Amanda built her career in professional soccer, leveraging new media and technologies to deliver compelling fan experiences that build community and drive consumer engagement.
As the Vice President of Fan Engagement at Major League Soccer (MLS), Amanda worked closely with League and Club executives to support their business planning and develop fan engagement programming. She previously served as the League's Vice President of Social Media and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) where she spearheaded the direction and overall strategy for the league’s direct-to-fan marketing (email and mobile messaging), database management and social media.
Amanda served as Chief Women's Football Officer at FIFPRO, the global football players' union, where she directed strategy, policy, and stakeholder relations. She was a prominent spokesperson on global women’s football matters and she co-authored the 2020 Raising Our Game Report, which placed player rights and conditions at the center of an overview on the growing women’s football industry.
Amanda enjoys non-profit and global soccer governance, leadership development and organizational growth. She's actively served the soccer community on boards and committees throughout her career.
