i am so sorry! my mom has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has only 6 to 9 months to live! really wish there was a better treatment or cure for this!

I’m sorry to hear the sad news. It is with the deep sorrow of loss that I, a former player of Team China, learn of Charlotte’s death.

As a soccer player, I was lucky to meet her, and will remember her smile, her kindness, her love, even though we hadn’t have much chance to talk with each other due to the language barriers. We know she’ll always remain very much alive in the memories of all of us.

Our beloved Charlotte

I have been so blessed to have know such a beautiful, warm, fun loving, energetic, charming and wonderful person. Her laughter and radiant smile will always be in my mind. It is just difficult to erase that cheerful jolly person out of your heart.
I have been encouraged by all the sincere, genuine tributes from all Charlotte’s fans all over the world. She was truly an International person.
I will keep all those precious e-mail responses from Charlotte who never failed to acknowledge our prayers. love and support. God is in control and we will not question Him. To Desiree and the whole family we say, Hold On to God who is your tower of strength in these difficult days. I truly miss such a wonderful person. Please be assured of our love and prayers and be comforted by this song below:

I did not have the honour and pleasure of meeting Charlotte, but have come to appreciate her as a beautiful person through her daughter Desiree, son-in-law, Mike and grandchildren, Justin, Marlee, and Ian, as well as through my sisters; Bas (Mike’s Mom) and Glen. We’ve also spoken on the net and Charlotte has been the subject of the prayers of our family and of our intercessory networks.
May the LORD comfort all her family, friends, and the Women’s football Fraternity.
Thanks to all who have made such comforting and affirming remarks.

I wanted to let you all know that this is the info that I am sending out to the many friends of Charlotte that are asking me about flowers, donations, etc. There will be a formal announcement of the foundation at a later date…

I am pleased to inform you of a newly formed foundation – Charlotte’s Foundation for Women’s Soccer, to fund and promote women’s soccer – the sport that was so dear to Charlotte Moran’s heart. This non-profit charity is dedicated to providing opportunities for women and girls’ soccer, including girls’ ODP, field development for women and girls’ teams, and the expansion of women and girls’ soccer leagues.
