WPS Draft Prep – Get the details here

Here’s Jill Coy, the WPS Marketing Manager, getting ready for the WPS Draft. I can’t believe how much attention she’s paying to the layout of this room – who really cares where the clock goes? (apparently lots of people… wow.)

Of course I have to start with the DRAFT!!! It’s going to take place next week at the NSCAA Convention in St. Louis, starting at 9:30am and going until all 10 rounds have been completed – yes folks, that’s 70 players who will learn their new city on Friday, Jan 16th. Other big ticket items on the WPS agenda for next week – official PUMA Match Ball reveal and a 1-on-1 exclusive interview with a very special player that you won’t want to miss (trust me on this one), both LIVE on Fox Soccer Channel.

International signings have started. First off the blocks – New Jersey gets Walsh and McCallum. Stay tuned… rumors abound.
