If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed, or my twitter. Thanks for visiting!

Jim Houghton, Beau Dure and me in the Chicago Red Stars double-wide trailer outside of Toyota Park.

Turns out that one of the most notable soccer writers in the country is in Chicago this weekend for a couple big events (one of which was, of course, the 5-2 Chicago wallop over New York Red Bulls last night at Toyota Park).

Is it crazy that a quick Google search for “Beau Dure” lists his resume #1 in the SERP?

Well, you can get to know Beau too!
- Be his friend on Facebook
- Join his fan group on Big Soccer
- Connect on Linkedin
- Network with him on MediaGeeks (a Ning Network)
- Read the same books as him on Amazon
- Follow him on Twitter
- Or browse all of his articles on USA Today

And my particular favorite, a study he wrote during his MA studies at Duke University, “The Changing Face of News in the Information Age.

Beau, you may very well be my new hero.
