Tonight we hosted a quaint and friendly group in the Chicago Red Stars suite for the FC Barcelona training session at Toyota Park. Barcelona was preparing to play Chivas Guadalajara on Sunday at Soldier Field.
It was a pretty low-key session to start – jogging, dynamic stretching, 5v2 in a small area (by the fans so we could get a good glimpse. I may have been starting at Thierry Henry for some time). Then they opened the session up with half field 8v6 while the keepers trained crossed balls at the opposite end. Finally, they brought the goals in and ended with 9v9.

FC Barcelona came together just before their training session.

FC Barcelona trained at Toyota Park stadium tonight, home of the Chicago Red Stars.

Amber and I enjoyed the practice session and the sunshine from the Chicago Red Stars suite.
