Last Night’s NSCAA Social at San Francisco State University
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008Last night, I attended a social gathering at the NSCAA coaching academy course at San Francisco State University. Thanks to Jeff Tipping for inviting me - It was great fun to chat with all the female coaches in the room, and also the men who coach women/girls in soccer. Here are a few observations from the evening.
Ten Reasons Why I’m In Love With Orlando Engelaar
Wednesday, June 11th, 20081. I love Orlando’s attacking mentality (I figure it’s only appropriate that I use his first name since we may be married sometime in the near future. I am a Vandervort after all).
2. I love how he combines with this fluid and creative Dutch side.
3. I love his keen sense of balance and pace as a midfielder.
Chicago Women’s Pro Soccer Announces Team Name - Chicago RED STARS (50-second video)
