ADVISOR
Amanda has rich experience in soccer governance, board leadership and non-profit management, and enjoys helping drive efficiency, effectiveness and engagement among directors, executives and administrators. As the fifth female president in the United Soccer Coaches 75-year history, she spent ten years on the association's board of directors. In that time, hired the first-ever female CEO, re-organized the board leadership structure, instituted new voting processes, rewrote the bylaws, and oversaw a complete rebrand. Today, Amanda dedicates her personal time to AFDP Global and the Global Goals World Cup both organizations dedicated to transforming communities and changing lives through soccer.
Current Roles
Amanda actively serves the soccer community through committees, task forces and board work. She has a unique affection for non-profit governance, leadership development and organizational growth.

2019 - present | Coaches Give is the charitable arm of United Soccer Coaches, offering direct financial support through grants and scholarships to coaching education programs. AFDP GLOBAL / ADVISORY BOARD 2018 - present | AFDP Global funds, supports and partners with organizations to unite and transform communities through football. GLOBAL GOALS WORLD CUP / ADVISORY BOARD 2018 - present | Global Goals World Cup fuses sport and advocacy in an effort to secure the successful implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. U.S YOUTH SOCCER / DIVERSITY & INCLUSION TASK FORCE, COACH/PLAYER WORKING GROUP 2019 - present | Assist with strategic initiatives geared towards growing and maintaining diversity within US Youth Soccer and all Member Organizations. |

2017 | As Past President, Amanda offered strategic council and advice to the President, Board of Directors, Advocacy Council and CEO following her tenure on the Board. NSCAA / PRESIDENT 2016 | Oversaw the mission and purpose of 30K-member non-profit association. Hired the first female CEO in the association’s 75-year history, managed an $8M annual budget, increased cash and assets by $2.5M, re-organized the leadership structure, instituted new voting processes, rewrote the bylaws, and oversaw a complete rebrand. NSCAA / VICE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD 2012 - 2015 | Determined the association's mission, ensured effective organizational planning, provided financial oversight and approved the annual budget. Worked to enhance our public standing, serving as an advocate, ambassador and community representative. NSCAA / WOMEN'S REPRESENTATIVE OF THE BOARD 2008 - 2010 | Kept the Board advised on women’s soccer business. Identified key opportunities for the association in the women's game to enhance the areas of membership, coaching education, awards, the annual convention, marketing and communications. NSCAA / WOMEN'S COMMITTEE CHAIR 2007 - 2012 | Developed programming for coaches of female athletes. Includes Coaching in the Game courses, the annual Social for Coaches of Female Athletes, the NSCAA/adidas Women's Soccer Breakfast, and the Algarve Cup Symposium. Managed the Women's Committee section of the website and distributed monthly e-newsletters. |

Advocate for improved cooperation and communication between FIFA member associations (MAs), their governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working in the countries, other partners and the media. Mentor for FIFA Women’s Leadership Development Program and a Panel Moderator at the 2011 and 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Symposiums.
